PATCHOGUE, NY (
www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's volleyball team opened day one of the St. Joseph's-L.I. Tournament Friday evening with a pair of matches in Patchogue, New York. Old Westbury dropped their first match of the day against Ramapo by scores of 20-25, 25-23, 17-25, 14-25 before rebounding with a three set (25-5, 25-18, 25-8) win over Sarah Lawrence. Old Westbury now stands at 15-11 on the season.
Day two action includes a non-conference affair with the CCNY Beavers at 2 p.m. from the Danzi Center followed by the Championship / Consolation matches at 4 p.m.
