OLD WESTBURY, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com)  - The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team dropped its first overtime match of the season Sunday afternoon as the Hunter Hawks tallied in the 96th minute to give the visitors a 1-0 overtime win in Old Westbury, New York. The loss moves Old Westbury to 1-5 on the season while Hunter improved to 1-4-1.

After a scoreless 90 minutes the Panthers and Hawks would go to overtime each looking for the golden goal. The Panthers were unable to find the back of the net for the fifth time this season as Hunter jumped on a chance in the first overtime session to claim the win. The Hawks broke through at the 95:32 mark to grab the victory. Saif Zureikat followed a rebound by firing home the game winner into the back of the net past a diving OW keeper Pablo Diaz.

KING'S MONARCHS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury will look to bounce back on Tuesday (Sept. 20) when they return to the pitch for a non-conference road battle with the King's Monarchs in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m. from McCarthy Stadium.
