www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) –Coming off an impressive 2-0 victory over Staten Island on Tuesday, the SUNY College at Old Westbury women's soccer team came up short against the Mount Saint Mary Knights, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon on the road from Kaplan Field. The Panthers (2-6) start their Skyline Conference portion of the schedule at 0-1 while Mount Saint Mary (5-2) opened at 1-0.
Mount Saint Mary took control in the first half, scoring three goals to take a commanding lead at half time. Shanice Robe scored the first goal of the game at the 14 minute mark to give the Knights a 1-0 lead. Meghan Moran doubled the advantage for the Knights, scoring in the 26th minute. Melissa Guillemette joined in on the scoring with a goal in the 33rd minute to give Mount Saint Mary a 3-0 first half lead. Nicole Gianotti scored in the 53rd minute to give the Knights a four-goal lead.

Caitlin Thomas matched a career-high with eight saves. Jacquelyn Mancini and Abigail McQuillen combined for the Mount Saint Mary shutout.
YORK CARDINALS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the pitch for a non-conference road battle on Monday (Sept. 24) afternoon, taking on the York Cardinals in Brooklyn, New York. Kick-off is slated for 3:30 p.m. from Aviator Field.
