OLD WESTBURY, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's basketball team lost its fourth straight game Saturday afternoon, when they fell at home to the Manhattanville Valiants by the score of 81-60. With the loss the Panthers fall to 2-7 on the season while the Valiants improve to 2-8.
The Panthers grabbed 11 of the game's first 18 points in the opening four minutes, but their last lead of the afternoon would come at 12:28, when they led 17-15. An ensuing 25-1 run by Manhattanville over the next twelve minutes would put the visitors up 40-18 with 1:57 remaining in the half. When the buzzer sounded the Valiants led 42-22 at the break.

Old Westbury improved its play in the second half, but still were outscored 39-38. With no runs of note, both teams swapped points the entire half, but the Panthers were never able to stop the bleeding and lost by the final score of 81-60.
