Gameday Program

OLD WESTBURY, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) -The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's soccer team celebrated six seniors on Senior Day Saturday from Panther Park with a 10-0 Skyline Conference victory over the visiting Sarah Lawrence Gryphons.  With the win, Old Westbury (8-7-1) improves to 2-5-0 in conference play while sending Sarah Lawrence (3-11-0) to 0-7-0.

Stephanie Maybie broke the scoring ice just 1:17 into play to further extend her program records of career (68) and season goals (24).  The goal was also Maybie's program record 20th game-winner.  The Panthers would then follow with first-half goals by Emily Winberry (3:39), Schildt (5:23), Kassandra Franco (11:23), Sara Bey (22:38), Stephanie Rios (31:17) and Melissa Outsen (43:28) to take a 7-0 lead into the break.

Coming out of intermission, Camille Langley got the scoring going in the second half at 52:10 as Allie McDonough's second assist of the game put Old Westbury up 8-0.  Schildt added her 11th goal of the season at 69:48 before finding Maybie at 72:02 for her third assist of the game to close out the scoring books. With the assist, Schildt tied Old Westbury's single-season record of 11 assists, which was set by JoAnna Kettell (2010-13) in 2013.

In the end, Old Westbury prevented its opponent from recording a shot for the fifth time in program history as Panther goalie Caitlin Thomas collected her program-record 16th career shutout.  Old Westbury fired off 35 shots, 21 of which landed on target for Sarah Lawrence goalie Addie Rosenberg, who finished with 11 saves.

Prior to kickoff, seniors Stephanie Maybie (2011-14), Caitlin Thomas (2011-14), Jordan Schildt (2011-14), Kassandra Franco (2011-14), Jenna Donahue (2013-14) and Emily Winberry (2013-14) were honored for their dedication to Old Westbury Athletics with the annual Senior Day Ceremony.
