BRONX, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - A pair of second-half goals gave the SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team a 2-1 victory over the Lehman Lightning on Wednesday evening at South Field in non-conference road action.  Old Westbury improves to 4-0 on the season while sending Lehman's record to 0-4.

Old Westbury dug itself in an early hole, allowing a 31st minute goal to Essosa Aluyi. Abraham Enahoro sent a through ball to set up Aluyi for the one-on-one goal against Panther goalie Peter Sicardi.

Jesse Eyoma scored the equalizer at 47:50 when he used his head to finish the feed off Anthony Echevarria's corner kick for his first goal of the season.  Echevarria's assist was his third of the season.  After both teams fought through a physical second half, Old Westbury's Richard Cunzo netted the game-winner just minutes after coming on as a substitute.  Angel Velez found Cunzo at 76:12, who lofted a header over the keeper for his second goal of the season.  Velez tied Echevarria and Dominick Guidice for the team lead with his third assist of the season.

Sicardi made six saves to pick up his fourth win of the season for the Panthers as Jesus Marin stopped nine shots in defeat for Lehman.

The Lighting outshot the Panthers, with 17 shots to Old Westbury's 16 in addition to holding an 8-7 edge in corner kicks.  Old Westbury came away with the victory with more quality shots on goal, holding an 11-7 advantage.

YORK CARDINALS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action on Friday (Sept. 12) for a non-conference matchup against the York Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. from Aviator Field in Brooklyn, New York.
