NEWBURGH, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's soccer fell 1-0 Saturday afternoon to the first-place Mount Saint Mary College Knights (10-5-0, 9-0-0) in Skyline Conference road action from Kaplan Field.

Mount Saint Mary threatened in the early going by firing three shots on goal through 10:42. Ronald Monge put Old Westbury (8-4-4, 5-2-1) in the shot column at 21:31, followed by attempts by Dominick Guidice, Jose Gomez and Fabrizio Chamorro before Elmer Moran put home a rebound to score the game-winning goal for Mount Saint Mary in the 42nd minute.

Old Westbury outshot Mount Saint Mary in the second half, 6-5, with Guidice uncorking a wide attempt at 87:55 for the game's final shot.

In the end, Mount Saint Mary held the edge in shots (11-10) and shots on goal (10-4), while Old Westbury controlled the corners with a 4-3 advantage.

Mike Warren (7-4-4) stopped nine shots in defeat for Old Westbury as Tyler Biscone (10-5-0) made four saves to preserve Mount Saint Mary's win.
