Warren stops eight in @OW_Panthers Men’s Soccer's non-conference tilt with Ramapo

Mike Warren made eight saves in Wednesday’s home match

OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's soccer (1-2-4) suffered its first home loss of the season Wednesday afternoon with a 3-0 non-conference setback to the Ramapo College Roadrunners (7-0-0) from Panther Park.  

Ryan Campbell put home his own rebound in the 23rd minute past goalie Mike Warren for the Roadrunners 1-0 lead.  Ramapo took a one-goal lead and a 9-7 edge in shots into the half.

Campbell opened the second-half scoring by feeding Trevor Albrecht in the box to double Ramapo's advantage in the 67th minute.   Moments later, Justin Olaya finished Campbell's pass to settle the scoring in the 75th minute.

In the end, Ramapo finished with the advantage in shots (21-13) and shots on goals (11-4), while Old Westbury held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.  

Warren (1-2-4) stopped eight shots while Ryan Sprague (7-0-0) made four saves to preserve Ramapo's win.  

MARITIME COLLEGE PRIVATEERS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to Skyline Conference play on the road Saturday (Sept. 24) against the Maritime College Privateers at 11 a.m. from Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, New York.
