OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's soccer registered a 3-0 non-conference win over the visiting Medgar Evers College Cougars (2-6-0) Monday afternoon from Panther Park.

Old Westbury (3-2-4) connected on its first shot as Seaton Cole sent a one-touch pass to Chris Agbodoh for his first-career goal in the third minute. The Panthers held a 7-4 edge in shots at the end of 45 minutes to take a 1-0 lead into the half.

Jorge Rodriguez's corner kick found Cole in the 54th minute to double Old Westbury's advantage. Justin Pagan then added to the lead in the 65th minute off a feed from Adan Velasquez to make it a 3-0 game.

Mike Warren (3-2-4) and Kevin Driscoll combined for the Old Westbury's first shutout of the season. Warren made two saves over the course of the opening 65 minutes before Driscoll stopped two shots the rest of the way. Kevin Ngwolo (2-6-0) turned away nine shots in defeat for Medgar Evers.

In the end, Old Westbury held a commanding advantage in shots (24-11), shots on goal (12-4) and corner kicks (5-1).

UNITED STATES MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY MARINERS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to Skyline Conference play Wednesday (Sept. 28) on the road against the United States Merchant Marine Academy Mariners at 7:45 p.m. from Brooks Stadium in Kings Point, New York.
