@OW_Panthers Soccer seeded fourth in 2018 Skyline Conference Championship

No. 4 Old Westbury will host a first-round Skyline Conference Championship matchup Sunday (Oct. 28) against No. 5 Farmingdale State College

OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's soccer will play as the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Skyline Conference Championship after going 5-1-4 in the league standings. The Panthers (9-5-4), making their third-straight postseason appearance under third-year head coach Patrick Corvetti, will play host to a first-round match on Sunday (Oct. 28) against the fifth-seeded Farmingdale State College Rams (9-7-1, 5-4-1 Skyline) at 1 p.m. from Panther Park.

Since 2008, Old Westbury and Farmingdale State have played three times in Skyline Championship play, with the Panthers owning a 2-1 record. 2018 marks the first time the two teams will meet in the first round. Old Westbury claimed a 2-0 win (Box Score) at home over Farmingdale State on Sept. 22.

St. Joseph's (L.I.)/USMMA winner at (2) Maritime, 7:30 p.m.

Final - Saturday, Nov. 3
