MONTCLAIR, NJ ---
(www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's basketball concluded their 2018 season Friday evening after advancing to the NCAA Division III Championship for the second time in three seasons.  The Panthers lost a 90-69 first-round decision to the host #22 Montclair State University Red Hawks (24-3) from Panzer Athletic Center in Montclair, New Jersey.  The Red Hawks advance to second-round action Saturday (Mar. 3) at 5 p.m. versus Gettysburg College (26-2).

Old Westbury finishes the campaign with a 23-4 record to post its third-straight 20-win season.  Looking ahead, the Panthers graduate seniors Imani Lariosa, Destiny Marino and Bridgid McNeill, while returning 10 players with NCAA Championship experience.
