FARMINGDALE, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball fell in four sets (25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21) in their "home" finale Tuesday evening to the Farmingdale State College Rams (14-13, 6-4 Skyline) in a Skyline Conference Dig Pink Senior Day matchup inside Walter A. Lynch Sports Center in Farmingdale, New York.  The Panthers (8-12, 3-7 Skyline) have lost nine-straight contests to the Rams dating back to the 2012 campaign.

Prior to first serve, seniors Joelle Desrosiers (2018-19) and Kyraleigh Zinnel (2017-19) were honored with the with the annual Senior Day Ceremony for their dedication to SUNY Old Westbury Athletics.

The Panthers put together their finest hitting set in the third stanza to attack at a rate of .262 before finishing the match at .079.  Farmingdale State hit at .126 while holding the advantage in points (64-46), kills (54-37), aces (4-3) and assists (50-35). Both teams tallied six blocks as Old Westbury owned a 91-86 edge in digs.

Desrosiers registered a match-high 24 kills to go with 17 digs to post her third-career double-double in leading Old Westbury.  Ally Parker followed with 28 assists and 11 digs to record her fourth-career double-double.  Hillary Bennett and Amanda Neenan anchored the Panther defense with 29 (match-best) and 20 digs (career-best), respectively. Deborah Ikechukwu and Daesha Garrison each recored three blocks.

Lexi Cavalieri captained the Rams to victory with a match-high 33 assists along with 12 digs. Kate Flamio and Kelsey Voiklis racked up 21 and 11 kills, respectively.  Madisyn Pozo scooped up 23 digs.
