YONKERS, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) No. 6 SUNY Old Westbury women's soccer was unable to overcome an early deficit Saturday evening as the third-seeded Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons (14-4-0) collected a 6-0 home win in the Skyline Conference Championship first-round from Fleming Field in Yonkers, New York.  The Gryphons will travel to Farmingdale, New York for Wednesday's (Nov. 6) semifinal game against the second-seeded and defending champions Farmingdale State College Rams (12-5-3).  The Panthers finished the season with an 11-9-0 record after advancing to the postseason for the first time since 2015.

Cara Normile tested Gryphon goalie Emily Cornejo (10-1-0) 1:55 in to put Old Westbury in the shot column before Sarah Lawrence took back-to-back shots in the seventh and eighth minutes.  A foul near the top of the box turned into a red card for Shauna Henderson at the 9:53 mark, making the Panthers play in a man-down situation for the remainder 80:07.  Sarah Lawrence capitalized on the opportunity in the 18th minute as Tiffany McBrayer connected with Lily Halloway to beat Panther netminder Yakeline Umanzor (10-6-0) for what proved to be the game-winning goal.  McBrayer then doubled the Gryphons' advantage in the 20th minute after receiving a pass from Haley Willibey. Niki Dalrymple put the finishing touches on Lainie Cadieux's feed in the 23rd minute to send a 3-0 game into the break.

Sarah Lawrence piled on three second-half goals ignited by McBrayer assisting on Dalrymple's (55:39) and Willibey's (65:02) tallies before Dalrymple capped the scoring by completing the hat trick in the 69th minute to settle the 6-0 final. The Panthers best attempt to break into the scoring column came off the boot of Britney Graham, who placed an on-target attempt in the 86th minute that was sent away by Cornejo.

Umanzor turned away a career-best eight shots in 67:26 minutes in the net before Moria Nolan made two saves and surrendered one goal in 22:34 minutes of action for the Panthers while Cornejo stopped six to secure a cleansheet for the Gryphons.

Sarah Lawrence finished with the advantage in shots (25-7), shots on goal (16-6) and corner kicks (5-4).

At the conclusion of the game, head coach Betty Bohringer and seniors Normile and Ashley Onofre participated in the post-game interview:
