Box Score OLD WESTBURY, NY

Old Westbury Men's Basketball team (2-1) travelled to Center Valley, Pennsylvania to take on the DeSales University Bulldogs(3-0).

Jonathan Jamieson and Zachary Cummings totaled up points along with Max Weinberg who helped create the spark in the scoring during first half play.

After 31 possessions by each team the score at half-time was tied, 41-41.

The OW Panthers played with confidence in the half keeping the lead over the Bulldogs throughout most of the 2nd half.  The Bulldogs took the lead back with 7:40 left in the 2nd half with a 65-67 score after the free-throws.   Zachary Cummings scored on a 3 point basket as Charles Wingate stole the ball from the Bulldogs and improved the score to 73-67.  Jonathan Jamieson answered with two additional points after a foul which improved the score to 75-69 in Old Westbury's favor.  Max Weinberg scored his 11th and 12th point of the evening from the foul line with 2:49 left and Old Westbury in the lead, 77-74.  DeSales answered back tying the game at 77-77 at the 2:11 mark.  Max Weinberg scored again as a result of a foul, tied the game with free throws 79-79 with 1:22 on the clock.  DeSales scored 2 points from the stripe going ahead 79-81 and with a basket 79-83.  Max Weinberg gained an offensive rebound, :09 seconds on the clock, and made the game 81-83, scoring his 16 points for the night.  Old Westbury fouled the inbound pass after Max Weinberg's basket to regain possession after the Bulldogs' free throw, but DeSales created an 85-81 deficit and won the game over SUNY Old Westbury.
