Old Westbury, NY

The SUNY Old Westbury Men's Basketball team traveled to Mount St. Vincent College, Bronx, NY for a Skyline match-up on December 1, 2021.  The Old Westbury Panthers (4-3, Skyline 0-1) lost to Mount St. Vincent Dolphins (3-4, Skyline 1-1) with the score of 79-86.

The game started as a competitive battle with both teams scoring at each end of the floor.  The Panthers took a double digit lead in the first half but the Dolphins were able to bring the score close to even.  The Dolphins tallied a few 3 pointers and additional baskets to cut the lead that Old Westbury had developed.  The Panthers shooting 64% from 3 point range in the first half kept the game close with a first half 42-40 scoring margin going into intermission.  The biggest impact in the 2nd half came from Mount St. Vincent shooting 61.54% to Old Westbury's 15.38% from the 3 point line.

Farmingdale State Athletics - Statement Regarding Fans - Winter 2021-22

The following rules are in place for spectators effective immediately (New rules are highlighted in BOLD):

1. All fans must show proof of vaccination (NYS Excelsior Pass, vaccination card) upon entering the facility OR provide a negative PCR COVID test taken within 72 hours of the posted game time OR show a negative rapid test result taken within 4 hours of the posted game time. This is mandatory for everyone ages five and older. If one of these three are not presented, you WILL NOT be allowed inside Nold Hall.

2. All fans must wear masks indoors at all times regardless of your vaccination status.

3. Fans are required to practice social distancing protocols.

4. Spectators are not permitted to interact with players or coaches before, during or after games.

5. Tailgating is not permitted.
