OW Men's Basketball unsuccessful against Farmingdale State

The OW Men's Basketball team and Farmingdale State Basketball team battle it out on a court, January 12, 2022. 

The OW  Panthers had a slow start and difficulty scoring during the first half in the game against the Farmingdale State Rams as Farmingdale led by double digits through out the first half which also continued into the 2nd half as the Farmingdale Rams lead by a high of 28  points at the 17:43 mark in the 2nd half.
Statistically during this game, Farmingdale scored 28 points to Old Westbury's 18 points as a result of turnovers.  Offensive rebounding and second chance scoring opportunities also had Old Westbury behind Farmingdale.  Farmingdale scored 23 points to Old Westbury's 14 points.
The first half score had Old Westbury trailing Farmingdale 57-32 and during the 2nd half the closest Old Westbury could close the gap was by 14 points.
Old Westbury was out rebounded through out the game 38-25 times.
Final score Farmingdale 95 - 81 Old Westbury.

Farmingdale, N.Y. - As of Monday, December 20th, there will be no fan permitted at any Farmingdale State College home athletic contests until further notice. 

The following guidelines for visiting teams remain in place.

Statement Regarding Visiting Teams - Winter 2021-22

1. All tier 1 personnel teams must be vaccinated or following Skyline testing protocols.

2. All tier 1 personnel must wear masks indoors at all times regardless of your vaccination status, other than when practicing or competing. This includes on the bench during games.

3. Visiting teams will be provided a locker room; however, use of the showers before/after games is not permitted.

4. Visiting teams are not permitted to eat in Nold Hall.
