Volleyball Earns Skyline Sweep Against Maritime

The Old Westbury women's volleyball team swept the Maritime Privateers in a Skyline Conference match on Thursday evening, for the team's fifth clean sweep of the season. Old Westbury improves to 5-6 overall, and 3-3 in conference play. 

1st Set: Old Westbury 25, Maritime 19
2nd Set: Old Westbury 25, Maritime 18
3rd Set: Old Westbury 25, Maritime 14

How it Happened
  • The two teams played a tight first set, trading points most of the way. Old Westbury had nine kills in the set, and Maritime had eight.
  • Old Westbury overpowered Maritime in the second set, totaling 13 kills to the visitor's three.
