The Old Westbury men's soccer team tied a Skyline Conference match against St. Joseph's Long Island 1-1 on Wednesday night. The Panthers move to 1-9-3 overall, and 0-6-3  in the Skyline.

How it Happened

• Old Westbury scored first in the 41st minute. A long cross from Cristian Garay led Jessi Vasquez into the box and finished right side past the keeper.
• St. Joseph's held the 8-5 advantage in shots through the first half.
• St. Joseph's scored the equalizer in the 59th minute after a long throw-in from Connor Owenburg landed in the 18-yard box and found the feet of Sean Gordon.

Top Performers

• Jessi Vasquez scored the lone goal for Old Westbury and led the Panthers with three shots on goal.
• Cristian Garay was credited with the assist on Vasquez's goal.
• Kevin Villada took two shots on goal.
• Goalkeeper James Perciballi totaled six save through the full 90 minutes.
