The Old Westbury men's soccer team tied a Skyline Conference match against St. Joseph's Long Island 1-1 on Wednesday night. The Panthers move to 1-9-3 overall, and 0-6-3 in the Skyline.
How it Happened
- Old Westbury scored first in the 41st minute. A long cross from Cristian Garay led Jessi Vasquez into the box and finished right side past the keeper.
- St. Joseph's held the 8-5 advantage in shots through the first half.
- St. Joseph's scored the equalizer in the 59th minute after a long throw-in from Connor Owenburg landed in the 18-yard box and found the feet of Sean Gordon.
