The Old Westbury women's volleyball team made the program's first appearance in the postseason since 2011, but fell short in the first round to St. Joseph's Long Island by a score of 3-0. #4 St. Joseph's will move on to face #1 USMMA on November 3rd.

How it Happened

• St. Joseph's went on a seven point run early in the first set to take a 7-2 lead, before Old Westbury came back to tie the score at 12. Four service aces helped St. Joseph's close out the first set.
• St. Joseph's totaled 34 kills compared to 19 by Old Westbury, and also held the 12-4 advantage in service aces.

• Clarissa Olivero led Old Westbury with six kills.
• Setter Rachelle Marrero tallied 16 assists. 
• Stephanie Maser had three kills with three service aces.
• Geanelle Sam totaled four kills and two block assists.
• Cameron McGinn led the team in digs with 10.
