The Old Westbury men's soccer team earned its first win of the season in a shutout win against Brooklyn College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
How it Happened
- Both teams went scoreless through the first half. Old Westbury took eight shots compared to Brooklyn's four in the first 45 minutes, while Brooklyn had the 2-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- Junior midfielder Cristian Garay found the back of the net in the 61st minute after a scramble in the box.
