The Old Westbury women's soccer team won a non-conference match at Five Towns College by a score of 5-0 on Thursday evening. The Panthers move to 2-0 on the season.

How it Happened

• Old Westbury opened up the scoring in the eighth minute with a goal from senior forward Bernadelle Dorvil, assisted by senior midfielder Jessica Pedroza.
• The Panthers scored just one goal in the first half, and Five Towns goalkeeper Jordan Tobin had six saves through the first 45 minutes.
• Melanie Escobar added onto the lead for Old Westbury less than a minute into the second half.
• In the 51st minute, Old Westbury capitalized on a corner kick by Melanie Escobar for a goal from Jessica Pedroza.
• Old Westbury totaled 36 shots and Five Towns took five shots.
