The Old Westbury baseball team earned two non-conference wins against Lehman College on Sunday afternoon.
Game One: Old Westbury 15, Lehman 2
How it Happened
The Panthers got on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning with three runs to take the early lead. Jacob Taormina doubled to center field and stole third base. John Dell'Olio was hit by a pitch and stole second base. With two runners in scoring position, Oscar Fajardo singled to center field to score both runners; he later advanced to second on a wild pitch. Nick Papageorge singled to right field to score Fajardo.
Old Westbury scored two more runs in each of the second and third innings. In the top of the second, Jamal Ritter led off with a single and stole second. Taormina hit his second double of the game to score Ritter. Later in the inning, Joe Morreale walked with the bases loaded for Taormina to score.
In the third inning, Ritter hit a bunt single and stole second base. Taormina hit into a fielder's choice to score Ritter. Dell'Olio was hit by a pitch and scored off a single by Fajardo.
Lehman scored one run in the bottom of the third and one in the bottom of the sixth, but Old Westbury held the lead 7-2, before scoring eight more runs in the top of the seventh inning. Ritter reached on a bunt single and later scored on a wild pitch. Dell'Olio reached on a walk and stole second. A wild pitch allowed him to move to third, before stealing home. With the bases loaded, the Panthers worked three walks for three more runs to cross the plate, before Taormina hit his third double of the game to score two.

- Jamal Ritter went 3-for-4 with four runs scored, an RBI, and two stolen bases.

- John Dell'Olio had three stolen bases and three runs scored.
- Kyle Gaertner earned the win on the mound for the Panthers, allowing two runs on six hits with five strikeouts, through six innings pitched.
Game Two: Old Westbury 11, Lehman 6
How it Happened
The Panthers scored first with two runs in the top of the first inning. Jamal Ritter led off the game with a single and stole second base, before scoring on an error by the catcher. Later in the inning, Lou Peluso hit a single to score Oscar Fajardo, who reached on a walk.
Lehman answered back with two runs of their own in the bottom of the first inning as the result of a hit by pitch, two singles, and two stolen bases.
Old Westbury scored another run in the second inning, and four more in the third. In the top of the second inning, Dominic Felicetti scored from third base after a wild pitch went out of play. In the third inning, Peluso stole second base and Nick Papageorge scored on the throw. Ritter hit a double to center field to score John Tardino and Peluso. Jacob Taormina grounded out to shortstop to score Aaron Castillo.
Dominic Felicetti doubled in the fifth inning for an RBI, and again in the sixth inning. Troy Emmanuel scored for the Panthers in the sixth inning on a passed ball.
