7-2 Victory Marks Return to Winning Ways

Old Westbury, New York | September 27, 2023 | The Panther Women's Soccer team benefitted from a return to their home field where they defeated the CUNY Brooklyn College Bulldogs 7-2 in a non-conference matchup.

Freshman forward Alyse Then led the way with three goals, bringing her season total to 20 and breaking the program goal-scoring record for a first-year player. The prior record had been held by Cassie Esposito, who tallied 17 goals in the programs' inaugural 2008 season.

Joining Then on the scoresheet were Mia Almonte, Mikayla Crosier, Alana Wallace, and Jennifer Pasquariello.

In goal, Natalie Intrieri and Evelyn Martel each played a half, with Intrieri making two saves.
