BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The SUNY Old Westbury women's soccer team fell to the Cannoneers of the Pratt Institute on Tuesday afternoon by a final score of 3-1.

With this non-conference loss, the Panthers fall to 0-3 on the season.

The game got off to a favorable start for Pratt as they found themselves ahead just over 90 seconds into the game after an own goal by the Panthers.

Pratt would hold on to their 1-0 lead throughout the rest of the first half. The Cannoneers led the Panthers, 1-0 at the end of the first half.

Just about two minutes into the second half, Pratt tacked on another goal courtesy of Claire Hook who found the center of the back of the net to put the Cannoneers ahead by two goals.

Trailing by two, the Panthers responded as Jaylyn Sanchez scored the team's first goal just over the 64-minute mark.

With the score now 2-1, the Cannoneers scored another goal to grow their lead to 3-1. The Pratt goal came by way of Siena Sujitno as she was assisted by Emma Pratt.
