Women’s Lacrosse Defeated by Cedar Crest on Saturday Afternoon

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The SUNY Old Westbury women's lacrosse team was defeated by the Falcons of Cedar Crest on Saturday afternoon, 19-0.
 
The Panthers now sit at 0-2 on the young season.
 
Old Westbury struggled to find their groove offensively as the team took just four shots in the opening half and eight shots in the second half. The Panthers recorded just two saves compared to the Falcons' 10.
 
The Panthers were 6-16 on clears and picked up nine draw controls.
 
Katia Maisonneuve led the team with five shots on goal. Adelia Slavinskaya and Caitlyn Subero each took two shots on goal. Jara Gonzalez recorded two saves after facing 26 total shots.
 
Next up, the Panthers will open their season at home against Purchase on Friday, March 28. The Panthers will face off from Panther Park at 3:30 PM.
