NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Skyline Conference has announced their weekly award winners from Aug. 25- Sept. 1. Henrik Ropstad has been named this week's Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer.
 
For the Panthers, the team opened up the 2025 campaign on Friday, August 29 against Baruch College where the Panthers defeated the Bearcats 3-1.

The Panthers are set to open Skyline Conference play later in the week against Yeshiva on Thursday.

Henrik Ropstad- Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week- SUNY Old Westbury

Ropstad, who began his second season with the Panthers, returns as a key piece of the team's offensive attack.

Ropstad finished the game with two goals and took a total of six shots on goal.

On the young season, the second year forward now ranks in the top of many of the conference's statistical categories.

Next up, the Panthers will face off against the Falcons of Albertus Magnus College this afternoon, September 2 at 3:30 PM. Following that, the Panthers will open conference play against Yeshiva on Thursday September 4 at 3:30 PM.
