Game 1: St. Joseph's Long Island 6, Old Westbury 3
After four scoreless innings, St. Joseph's Long Island broke through in the top of the fifth with four runs to take control of the opener. The Golden Eagles added two more runs in the seventh to stretch their lead to 6-0.
Old Westbury responded in the bottom of the seventh with three runs. Noah Tannenbaum scored on an error, JT Torres brought in a run on a fielder's choice, and Mike Tiseo drew a bases-loaded walk to score the Panthers' final run of the game.

One thing Old Westbury did well in game one was continue to compete late, putting together a three-run seventh inning. The Panthers also got solid contributions throughout the lineup and played well enough defensively to turn a double play.
Game 2: St. Joseph's Long Island 11, Old Westbury 6
In the second game, St. Joseph's Long Island grabbed an early 2-0 lead before the Panthers answered in the bottom of the second. JT Torres delivered a two-run single to right field to score James Reilly and Mike Petrucelly, tying the game at 2-2.
After St. Joseph's moved back in front in the fifth, Old Westbury answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning to take a 5-4 lead. James Reilly tripled to left center to drive in Petrucelly and Mike Tiseo, and Nick Mace followed with a sacrifice fly to bring home Reilly.
The Golden Eagles responded with three runs in the sixth and added insurance runs over the final innings to pull away for the 11-6 win.
Reilly paced the Panthers offensively in game two with two hits, two RBI, and three runs scored. Torres added two RBI, while Mace drove in one. Petrucelly scored twice as Old Westbury totaled nine hits in the contest.
Old Westbury did a couple of things well in game two. The Panthers showed resilience by battling back and taking the lead midway through the game, and they also got strong production at the plate, finishing with nine hits and six runs.
