OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. — The Old Westbury men's soccer team fell to the University of Mount Saint Vincent, 6-2.
The Panthers fell behind early when UMSV scored in the second minute, but
Johan Gran answered in the seventh minute to even the match at 1-1.
Marcelo Huaman assisted on Gran's goal. UMSV regained the lead late in the first half, scoring in the 41st and 44th minutes to take a 3-1 advantage into halftime.
UMSV added another goal in the 49th minute before Gran scored his second goal of the afternoon in the 59th minute, cutting the deficit to 4-2. The visitors responded with goals in the 64th and 87th minutes to secure the 6-2 victory.
The Panthers will look to bounce back in their next match up against Sarah Lawrence on the road September 29.
