Lou Orologio is set to enter his second season as an assistant coach with the SUNY Old Westbury Baseball program. Orologio's daily responsibilities include serving as the outfield, hitting and first base coach. He also assists with recruiting.
In 2022, Orologio coached the Riverhead Tomcats. Orologio oversaw athletes from various DI programs across the country such as Wake Forrest, Boston College, Rutgers, Brown, etc.
Orologio was inducted into the Farmingdale State College Hall of Fame in 2017. As a student-athlete himself, Orlologio was an All-American honoree as well as a Rams' gold glove winner.
In addition to collegiate coaching, Orlogio spent time coaching his children's' travel ball teams and has numerous athletes go on to play at the collegiate level. Orologio's oldest son, Camden played baseball at Adelphi and his youngest son,Ty currently attends Marist College.
Orologio currently resides in Setauket, N.Y. He has been married to his wife, Janett for 36 years.
