SUNY Old Westbury Athletics

2025: Finished the season with a batting average of .437 where he recorded 56 hits, 25 runs, 30 RBIs, 17 doubles and two home runs. Stole three bases and walked 13 times. As a pitcher, threw 20.2 innings and recorded an ERA of 4.35. Allowed 11 hits and 10 runs. Earned three wins and two saves. 

2024: Played his first year of college baseball at the University of New Haven as a two-way player. He was recognized as a Scholar-Athlete and gained attention as a high-follow prospect both statewide and nationally in the sport.

High School: In 2023, he played at St. John the Baptist Catholic High School, where he served as the varsity captain during his one year of attendance. Following high school, he garnered eight scholarship offers, presenting him with opportunities to play collegiate baseball at the Division I, II, and III levels.

Personal: A business management major, RJ is the son of Bob and Debbie Azarieh. He has two siblings, Tyler and Brandy.
