Frank Chester enters his eighth season as Old Westbury's assistant men's basketball coach ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

During his first four seasons on campus, Old Westbury has advanced to the Skyline Conference Championship semifinals.  In 2015-16, Old Westbury advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2003-04 after claiming the Skyline Conference Championship.   

Chester arrived at Old Westbury after participating in the Gus Alfieri Coaching Course at the All American Basketball Camp in the summer 2013.  Chester was also an assistant coach of three-time division champions Commack High School from 1991-98.
 
Chester enjoyed a successful 37 year career in the financial industry as a member and seat holder of the New York Stock Exchange.

A native of Commack, New York, Chester earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University in 1970, majoring in business administration with a minor in Political Science.  Chester played his high school ball at Carle Place and is married to wife, Kathleen, who are proud parents of four children.     Â
