2024-25: Played in all 23 games, averaging 6.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Finished the 2024-25 campaign with 155 points, 153 rebounds, 66 assists, 27 steals, and 20 blocks.

High School: Played varsity basketball for Murry Bergtraum High School. 

Personal: A Finance major, Joel is the son of Emmanuel Gyimah and Theresa Asamoah. Joel has three siblings, Laura Doreen, and Mary.
