Biography

2024-25: Appeared in 21 games during the season. Averaged 3.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.9 steals per game. Finished the 2024-25 campaign with 74 points, 75 total rebounds, 14 assists, 18 steals, and 11 blocks. 

2023-24: Appeared in 14 games throughout the season for the Panthers. Finished the 2023-24 campaign with 40 points, 49 rebounds, six assists, one blocks and five steals. 

High School: In high school, Michael played basketball under Head Coach Minyard at Lincoln High School. Michael played small forward and was a two year starter on the team.

Personal: A criminology major, Michael is the son of Veronica Obi. He has two siblings, Clinton and Princess Obi.
