Jennifer Kamph enters her first season as SUNY Old Westbury assistant softball coach in 2018.

"I am excited to start my collegiate coaching career with the Panthers,” said Kamph.  “I welcome the opportunity to work with our student-athletes by sharing the experiences I have obtained as both a coach and player."

Since 2004, Kamph, a co-founder of the NY Lady Cobras, has served the organization as President and head coach/senior instructor.

“We are excited to add a coach with NCAA Division I playing experience to our staff,” said SUNY Old Westbury head coach Rich Borawski.  “She has a great passion for the game and is going to bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the program.”

Kamph played four years (1999-2003) as a NCAA Division I infielder at Manhattan College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003 with a dual degree in Marketing & Management.  During her time at Manhattan, she was a four-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team honoree and received the Jasper Award in her final season.  Kamph was also a two-time member of the New York City softball team at the 2002 and 2005 Empire State Games.

Kamph later studied at Hofstra University, where she earned an MBA in Sports & Entertainment Management (2009) and a Masters in Marketing Research (2011).  She is currently a marketing research analyst for Hofstra University.

Raised in Ozone Park, New York, Kamph graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School in 1999.  She currently resides in Rockville Centre.
