Marc Fazio enters his ninth season as assistant coach at SUNY College at Old Westbury.  He is a native of Babylon, New York started his athletic career playing three sports at Babylon High school, from there he moved on to play baseball at the collegiate level in Gannon College in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Fazio earned Skyline Conference Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2009 and 2011, while the team captured Skyline Conference Sportsmanship Award in 2011 and 2012.  Old Westbury made six straight trips to the ECAC Metro Region Championship Tournament from 2008-13.

In 1979, Fazio coached baseball at Holy Family High School in Huntington, New York, then moved on to coach softball at Hofstra University for 3 seasons from 1986-1988 where he improved from season 1 with a record of 7-14 to season three with a record of 24-11. At Hofstra University he produced two academic all Americans in three years. He was a Head Coach for the Empire State Games in 1987 and 1988.  Since 2009, Fazio has served as president of the Long Island Hurricanes Fastpitch travel softball organization, which has produced countless players who advanced on to play on the college level.  Fazio also serves within the organization as a coach for their top 18U travel elite team

Fazio also has 26 years of experience as a football coach, leading St. Anthony's High School football team from 1979-1988 and then becoming Head Coach at St John the Baptist High School.

He is currently a physical education teacher at St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip, New York.
