Nicole Petrucci, a three-time All-Skyline Conference selection for the SUNY Old Westbury softball team, joined the Panthers in 2014 as an assistant coach.
Playing for the Panthers from 2010-13, Petrucci helped lead the team to four consecutive ECAC Metro Region Championship Tournament appearances.  In 2012, she contributed to the team’s program best 26-win season. Â
Petrucci scored 121 runs in her 149 game career as a Panther, where she totaled 151 hits for a .317 batting average in addition to stealing 39 bases. Â Petrucci grabbed first-team All-Conference honors as a utlity player in 2011 in addition to being named second-team All-Conference at short stop that same season. Â Petrucci capped off her career with second-team All-Conference honors at short stop in 2013. Â Â

A native of Locust Valley, New York, Petrucci graduated from Locust Valley High School before earning her bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Old Westbury in 2013.
