Former two-time All-Skyline Conference catcher Samantha Siegler enters her fourth season as assistant softball coach at SUNY Old Westbury. Siegler, a native of Bellmore, New York, played in all 152 games over her four year career, catching every pitch for Old Westbury from 2009-12.
Siegler was named All-Skyline First-Team as a senior and junior and finished her career batting .350 (157-448) with 14 home runs, 109 RBI, 32 doubles and 82 runs scored in 152 consecutive games played. She was a member of four ECAC Metro Region Championship Tournament teams as most notably the 2012 squad that set a program record for wins (26). Siegler was also a member of two Skyline Conference Sportsmanship Award winning teams (2011, 2012).
Siegler, a five-time member of the Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll, earned her bachelor’s degree from Old Westbury in Elementary Education in 2012.
