Biography

2025: Appeared in 35 games where she recorded 27 hits, 18 runs, and 15 RBIs. She walked four times and stole six bases.  

2024: Appeared in 22 games where she recorded two hits, nine runs, two RBIs, and a double. She also stole three bases. 

High School: Played varsity softball under Coach Dave Radtke for four years as the starting third basemen. She was awarded all-conference honors for three of her four years in high school. In addition, Amanda played basketball under Coach Steve Robins as a shooting guard. 

Personal: A childhood education major, Amanda is the daughter of Kerri and Eric Varela. She has three siblings, James, Michael and Christian.
