Cassandra Esposito returns to campus in 2019 for her third season as SUNY Old Westbury assistant women's soccer coach.
Esposito starred for the Panthers from 2008-2011, where she was a four-time All-Skyline Conference selection, including being named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year as a senior in 2011.Â
"It is truly an honor to give back to Old Westbury as a member of the coaching staff," said Esposito. "I look forward to providing the program with as much assistance in order to develop our student-athletes to championship level."
In 2008, Esposito was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year after ranking 26th in the nation with 1.06 goals per game. In 72 career games, Esposito totaled 146 points, 66 goals and 14 assists. Esposito ranked among the Skyline Conference leaders by finishing second or better in goal scoring, and third or better in points in each of her four seasons.Â
"It is a pleasure to have an outstanding alumna return as assistant coach," said Bohringer. "Esposito's input is really first hand as a standout all-conference student-athlete."Â
Esposito graduated from SUNY Old Westbury in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. The Valley Stream, New York native was a 2007 graduate of Valley Stream North High School.
