Jennifer Kupfer enters her second season as SUNY Old Westbury assistant women’s soccer coach in 2019.
“I am extremely excited to coach and mentor the women’s soccer team,” said Kupfer. “SUNY Old Westbury was a place I called home for many years and I am honored to be back.”
Kupfer helped lead Old Westbury to the postseason in each of her three seasons (2009-11) at Old Westbury. During her time at Old Westbury, Kupfer played in all 58 games (started 56 games) between the defender and goalie positions. In total, Kupfer registered 26 points on eight goals and 10 assists while producing 11 wins, five shutouts and 134 saves.
“Kupfer’s competitive desire to contribute to the development and success of the women’s soccer program is her top priority,” said SUNY Old Westbury head women’s soccer coach Betty Bohringer.” “She brings academic, athletic and professional experiences forward and our student-athletes will benefit greatly from her passion and knowledge.”
As a senior, Kupfer was recognized as a 2011 second-team All-Skyline Conference defender after compiling 13 points, seven assists and three goals.
Kupfer graduated Old Westbury with a master’s degree in taxation (2014) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting (2012. Prior to Old Westbury, Kupfer spent one year at both Nassau Community College and SUNY Cortland.
Hailing from North Bellmore, New York, Kupfer attended Wellington C. Mepham High School.
