Andrea Stern is set to enter her third year at the helm of the SUNY Old Westbury Women's Volleyball program.
In her time with Old Westbury Stern has worked to recruit and rebuild the program. In the 2021 season, Stern led the program back to the playoffs for the first time in 13 years.
In addition to women's volleyball, Stern was a major part of the development of men's volleyball at SUNY Old Westbury and served as the team's interim head coach.
Stern also coaches with Club Ace Long Island. Over the last nine years, she has worked with athletes from the beginning to national levels. Several athletes have gone on to play at top DI programs.
Stern was a collegiate athlete herself, at another Skyline Conference Institution. With the Golden Eagles of St. Jospeh's-Long Island, Stern was a starting Libero.
Stern currently resides in Baldwin, N.Y. She graduated with a degree in Human Relations from St. Joseph's University-Long Island.
