The SUNY College at Old Westbury head women's volleyball coach Melissa Rudy-Wolf announced the hiring of Jackie DiVittorio as an assistant coach.

DiVittorio makes her return back to the collegiate coaching ranks after having last coached at Farmingdale State as assistant coach for five seasons (2003-07).  While on the Farmingdale State sidelines, DiVittorio was a member of the 2006 Skyline Conference Coaching Staff of the Year in addition to the team achieving the Skyline Conference Sportsmanship Award in the same year. 

A 2004 graduate of nearby Molloy College, DiVittorio played one-year for the Lion volleyball squad.  As a senior, she was named team captain before graduating with a degree in Secondary Education-Social Studies.  Prior to her arrival at Molloy, DiVittorio was a three-year letterwinner at Farmingdale State as an outside hitter.  As a sophomore and junior, she was named team captain, President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in addition to Student-Athlete of the Year.  DiVittorio earned her associates degree in Liberal Arts in 2002 from Farmingdale State.  

Off the court, DiVittorio has served as an Administrative Assistant for the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association since 2008.  A product of Massapequa, New York, DiVittorio graduated from Massapequa High School in 1999 after starring for three years on the varsity volleyball team and two seasons with softball.  She currently resides in West Babylon, New York.
