The SUNY College at Old Westbury Kristina Giordano will return to the Panthers sidelines this fall as a women's volleyball undergraduate assistant coach, head coach Melissa Rudy-Wolf announced September 10, 2012.

Giordano played for the Panthers for three seasons as a setter, achieving All-Skyline Conference honors in all three, including first-team laurels as a junior and senior.

She wrapped up her three-year career at Old Westbury with 301 aces, 2,033 assists, 750 digs and 368 kills over 342 sets.  Giordano ranked amongst the nations leaders in aces per set in her sophomore (5th, 0.97), junior (5th, 0.95) and seniors (24th, 0.71) seasons.  During her junior season, she posted career-highs as she served up 112 aces and scooped up 318 digs.  As a sophomore, she set career-highs in kills (127), hitting percentage (.245) and blocks (37) while concluding her senior season with a career-best 752 assists, at a rate of 6.84 helpers per set.  

Giordano was also a two-sport athlete at Old Westbury, competing on the softball team as an outfielder in 2010.  She will be graduating with a degree in Criminology in December 2012.  She currently resides in Huntington Station, New York.
