PANTHERS TOO MUCH FOR YESHIVA IN 8-0 VICTORY

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old
Westbury Men's Soccer team improved to 8-3 overall and 5-0 in
conference play with an 8-0 shut out over Yeshiva University.
Yeshiva University falls to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in conference
action.
Justin Leakey posted the Panthers first goal at the
18:06 mark, scoring on a breakaway to give Old Westbury the one
goal advantage. Moments later Leakey struck again, this time
off a feed from Daniel Lepe at the 25:15 mark. It wasn't
until 29:37 later when Kimron Annikie scored the third Old Westbury
goal off a Jorge Roman pass at the 54:52 mark. John Senatore
was credited with his lone goal of the game when Kimron Annikie set
him up for a hard shot that was unable to be stopped at
57:10. Old Westbury went onto score four more goals over the
next 21:35. George Villalta scored at the 64:18 mark off a
touch pass by Ragi Burton to give the Panthers a five goal
advantage. Lawrence Nurse tapped in Old Westbury's sixth goal
from 10 yards out off a skip pass by Divine Jackson. Ragi
Burton posted the seventh goal for the Green and White when Daniel
Lepe delivered a ball that went past the outstretched arms of the
goal keeper at 73:12. Old Westbury was credited with a team
goal at the 78:45 mark, giving the Panthers an 8-0 shutout
victory.
Old Westbury will look to extend on their six game winning
streak as they return to action on Thursday, October
18th to play host to Purchase College. The battle
of the Panthers is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start. For more
