YONKERS, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's soccer team notched their fourth win in conference play with a 4-1 win over Mount Saint Vincent College on Tuesday afternoon at Tibbets Brook Park.  Freshman Cassandra Esposito (Valley Stream, N.Y.) scored a hat trick to lead the Panthers to victory.  Old Westbury improved to 4-5 in league play and 4-6 on the season while Mount Saint Vincent fell to 1-2 in conference action and 1-10 overall.

The Panthers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 30th minute of play as Esposito gathered a ball and dribbled through the midfield defense and fired a shot inside the far post for the score.  The advantage was doubled in the 40th minute as a turnover by the Dolphins outside the box wound up on the foot of junior Courtney Dixon (Baldwin, N.Y.) who netted her first goal of the season to make the score 2-0.  Lauren Perla answered with the lone tally for Mount Saint Vincent with a penalty kick score at the 50:17 mark to close the gap to a one goal deficit, 2-1.  Old Westbury responded when junior Mikele Reitmayr (Wantagh, N.Y.) slotted a pass to Esposito in the box and curled a shot inside the far post for her second goal of the game to increase the lead to 3-1 in the 61st minute.  Esposito closed out the scoring for the Panthers with her third goal of the game in the 65th minute as she gathered a free ball outside the box and fired a shot into the right post for the score.

Esposito's hat trick was the third of the season for the freshman sensation, who leads her team and conference with13 goals.
