OLD WESTBURY, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old
Westbury baseball team was defeated in both games on Monday's
doubleheader by the Rams for Farmingdale State. Farmingdale
State edged Old Westbury, 6-5 in game one and completed the
doubleheader sweep with a 9-5 victory in game two. Old
Westbury drops to 10-8 on the season but more importantly dips to
6-3 in league play. Meanwhile, Farmingdale State improves to
15-10 overall and 7-1 in the Skyline Conference.
The Green and Ivory return to the diamond on Wednesday, April
1st to welcome the Lehman Lighting for a non-conference
doubleheader in Old Westbury. First pitch is slated for 5:00
p.m. at the Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex in Old Westbury.
