OLD WESTBURY, NY (
www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) –The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's volleyball team fell in four sets (10-25, 21-25, 27-25, 23-25) to the visiting NYU-Poly Jays in Skyline Conference action Tuesday evening from the Clark Athletic Center. The loss set Old Westbury (7-23) back to 2-6 in conference play while NYU-Poly (11-23) improved to 6-3.
Jennifer Jean paced the offense with a team-high 12 kills, followed by
Jocelyn Small, who tallied 10 kills and three aces. Small's served up three
Kimberly Catania captained the Panther offense with 23 assists while posting 14 digs to record her 20th double-double of the season.
Mudeline Derisma scooped up a career-high 16 digs.
NYU-Poly's Corey Loupee nailed down a match-high 17 kills while Alyssa Niquette dished out 31 assists.
RUTGERS-NEWARK AND BARD UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the court against Rutgers-Newark (3 p.m.) and Bard (5 p.m.) on Saturday (Oct. 27) in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.
