www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury softball team opened their 2012 season on the road at the Roanoke Valley Bash on Saturday afternoon from Moyer Complex in Salem, Virginia. Old Westbury lost the opener to the Roanoke Maroons, 9-1, and recovered with a 3-2 victory over the Grace Lancers to wrap up day one of competition.
Old Westbury returns to action on Sunday for day two of the Roanoke Valley Bash at 9 a.m. against the Eastern Mennonite Royals followed by the Rochester Warriors at 11 a.m. from Moyer Complex in Salem, Virginia.
