PATCHOGUE, NY 
(www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's lacrosse team fell 11-3 against the Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins in Skyline Conference action Thursday evening from St. Joseph's College-L.I. Outdoor Athletic Complex.   Old Westbury (1-6) slips to 0-3 in conference play while the Dolphins (3-3) even up at 1-1.

Courtney Gallagher paced Old Westbury with a pair of scores to record her fourth multi-goal game of the season.  JoAnna Kettell followed with one goal.  Jessica Walker led the Panthers with two draw controls while Anna Noens tied a program record with five ground balls.   

Mount Saint Vincent held a commanding 7-0 lead when Gallagher scored Old Westbury's first goal with 23:47 remaining in the second-half.  Mount Saint Vincent answered with a pair of goals before Gallagher's second free-position goal of the contest made it a 9-2 game with 12:32 left.  Following two more goals from Mount Saint Vincent, Kettell went nearly the distance of the field to score her fifth goal of the season to close out the scoring with 1:20 showing on the game clock. 

Old Westbury's Sara Braverman recorded 11 saves between the pipes while Kacie McCormack stopped six shots for Mount Saint Vincent. 

Melina Mezzanotte scored a game-high four goals while Nicole Flores added three for the Dolphins.

Mount Saint Vincent held a 32-14 advantage in the shooting department and outmuscled the Panthers to the tune of 11-5 in draw controls. 

MOUNT SAINT MARY KNIGHTS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action on Saturday (March 23) for a Skyline Conference clash with the Mount Saint Mary Knights at 4 p.m. in Newburgh, New York.
