www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's lacrosse team fell to the Mount Saint Mary Knights, 17-0, on Saturday afternoon in a Skyline conference match-up. The Panthers (1-7) dip to 0-4 in Skyline competition, while the Knights (6-2) improve to 2-1 in conference play.
The trio of Kaileen Spadaro, Danielle Krupka, and Ela Igdeler each tallied four points for the Knights on three goals and one assist to lead Mount Saint Mary. Old Westbury goalie
Sara Braverman racked up 11 saves in the loss for the Panthers.
Spadaro's third goal at the 3:11 mark, gave the Knights a quick 5-0 edge. Later in the first, Krupka scored consecutive goals in a 1:52 span, extending Mount Saint Mary's lead to 9-0.
It was an 11-0 game at intermission and in the second, Igdeler concluded the scoring by netting her third goal of the contest with 37 seconds remaining.
Mount Saint Mary out-shot Old Westbury, 37-1, and outmuscled the Panthers, 16-3, in draw controls.
